What we fix on controllers (examples)
Stick drift
Your character walks on its own, the camera slowly turns, or the stick does not center. Drift usually comes from worn stick modules. We can replace the worn stick, or upgrade it to a TMR stick (see below). Our stick drift guide covers what to try at home first.
Buttons, triggers and bumpers
Buttons that stick, double press or stop responding, mushy triggers, and bumpers that no longer click.
Charging ports and controllers that will not charge
The cable only works at an angle, the light never comes on, or the controller dies fast. Sometimes it is a worn port, sometimes a battery, and sometimes a fault on the board. Board-level soldering is done in house in Latham, not sent to another shop.
Other controller problems
Controllers that will not pair or connect, rattles, broken shells and liquid spills. Bring it in for free diagnostics and we tell you what we find.
TMR stick upgrades
TMR (tunnel magnetoresistance) sticks read stick position with magnets instead of the worn contact parts inside standard sticks. Because they work without that contact wear, they are a popular choice for players tired of drift coming back. We can install TMR sticks in place of the original sticks on many controllers. Fit depends on the controller model, so we confirm what works for yours first.
Price depends on the controller, so there is no single price. You get a free estimate before any work starts, and nothing is done until you approve it.
